: Background research is when teachers teach the material in the human respiratory organs, less teachers develop a lesson plan, so the step-by-step implementation of learning is not maximal. The purpose of the research is to improve student learning outcomes matter respiratory organs in humans with group discussion method in class V 06 River Elementary School Laur. The research method is descriptive form of action research. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the ability of teachers to plan the implementation of learning increased by 0.38. The ability of teachers to implement instructional increased by 0.29. Student learning outcomes increased by 11.67.
